Refund policy

Sometimes it just doesn't work out. No worries. We gladly offer store credit or exchange to get you the right fit.

All returns must be pre-approved by MAEMAE within 14 days of receipt of the item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

All sale items are final.

Start a Return

To start a return for exchange or store credit, please email info@maemaenyc.com with:

  • your Order #
  • the name/color of item(s) you would like to return
  • the reason(s) for your return
  • if you'd like store credit or what type of exchange you'd like to make

If approved, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. We will get back to you on whether your return is approved and the address to ship the items to. 

Approved Items must be shipped to us within 14 days of when you received your order, in their original condition with all tags attached

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be refunded store credit as a gift card or an exchange will be processed. 

MAEMAENYC.com reserves the right to request proof of shipment date. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We highly recommend that you insure all return packages as a full credit can only be issued if the package is not lost or damaged.

Important Notes

Please Note: We do not issue refunds to the original form of payment on any returned items unless in the case of extreme circumstances. A 20% re-stocking fee will apply.

The following items are FINAL SALE
- Hair Pins
- One of A Kind items (e.g. eye pillows, collars)
- All international (non U.S.) orders, regardless of item
- Any sale item or any discounted item
